I'm definitely going to have to learn be less empathetic... or maybe I need to move somewhere farther away... but these past 2 weeks have just been nuts!
The quick summary (excluding the things I've probably forgotten) includes--
- One of my close friends had to go to the Emergency Room and called me on the way there because he was lost and needed directions -- in another state
- One of my favorite cousins had weight loss surgery
- My 16 year old neice ran away from home and still hasn't been found
- A family friend is having serious health problems
As a result of these things, my family is also all shook up. It's taking a lot of patience to stay calm and collected.
