Garden Update

The garden that I share with Brian survived Music Fest!  I was afraid that all of the rain we had during Music Fest weekend would drown our plants.  Fortunately, that's not what happened.  In fact, our lettuce loved the rain.  It went from being a small patch of lettuce to a lettuce tree.  Here's a photo of the lettuce and the sandwich that I made with it.

We also have quite a bit of cilantro, parsley, and carrots.  I'm thinking that I may make a carrot cake soon... or something else that uses carrots. I've also got quite a bit of mint growing, so I've been making mint tea and mojitos. Yumm!
